YOU — Your Own Universe ("YOU", "we", "our") has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. We are deeply committed to the safety, protection, and dignity of all minors. Any content, behavior, or activity that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers children is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to appropriate authorities.
1. Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following are strictly prohibited on the YOU platform:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any format — images, video, audio, or text
- Content that sexualizes minors in any way
- Grooming behaviors targeting minors
- Solicitation of minors for sexual content or contact
- Sharing, distributing, or linking to CSAM
- Content that normalizes or glorifies sexual abuse of children
- Attempts to establish inappropriate relationships with minors through the platform
- Trafficking or exploitation of minors
2. Age Requirements
- Users must be at least 13 years of age to create an account
- Users under 18 must have verified parental or guardian consent
- Mature or adult content is restricted to users who have verified they are 18 or older
- We do not knowingly allow minors to access mature-rated content
3. Detection and Prevention
We take active measures to detect and prevent CSAE on our platform:
- Content Moderation: All live streams and uploaded clips are subject to moderation, including automated and human review.
- Reporting Tools: Every piece of content and every user profile on the platform includes a visible "Report" option. Reports are reviewed promptly.
- Hash Matching: We work toward integration with industry-standard hash-matching technologies (e.g., PhotoDNA) to detect known CSAM before it is shared.
- Age Confirmation: Users are required to confirm their age during onboarding and when accessing age-restricted content.
- Flagging System: Our community can flag suspicious behavior or content for immediate review by our trust and safety team.
4. Reporting and Response
When CSAE content or behavior is detected or reported, we take immediate action:
- Immediate removal of the content from the platform
- Suspension or permanent termination of the offending account
- Reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via CyberTipline as required by US federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A)
- Cooperation with law enforcement investigations
- Preservation of evidence as required by applicable law
We report all apparent violations of laws involving CSAM to NCMEC, which works with the FBI, Homeland Security, and international law enforcement agencies.

- Trust and safety team members are trained to identify and handle CSAE reports
- We follow established protocols consistent with NCMEC and INHOPE guidelines
- We maintain an internal escalation process for high-priority CSAE reports
- We regularly review and update our safety policies and detection methods

YOU complies with all applicable laws regarding child protection, including but not limited to:
- PROTECT Our Children Act (18 U.S.C. § 2258A) — mandatory NCMEC reporting
- COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act)
- CIPA (Children's Internet Protection Act)
- All applicable state and international child protection laws
