By using YOU — Your Own Universe ("YOU", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use YOU. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Do not share your login credentials with others.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post to YOU. By posting content, you grant YOU a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content through the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you post and its compliance with applicable laws.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post content that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Post sexually explicit content involving minors (strictly prohibited — see our Child Safety Standards)
• Impersonate other people or organizations
• Use the Service to spam or distribute malware
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Violate the rights of others, including intellectual property rights

6. LIVE Streaming

When you go live on YOU, your content is broadcast in real time and may be recorded and stored as replays. You consent to this recording when you initiate a broadcast. You are responsible for ensuring your live content complies with these Terms and applicable law. YOU reserves the right to end broadcasts that violate these Terms.

7. Creator Program and Payouts

Creator monetization features, including payouts, are subject to eligibility requirements and additional terms that will be provided to participating creators. Payouts are processed through Stripe. No earnings are guaranteed. YOU reserves the right to modify or discontinue monetization features at any time.

8. Forecasts and Decisions

Forecasts and Decisions on YOU are social features for sharing opinions and predictions. They are not financial instruments, investment advice, or gambling. Reputation points are not monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or other currency.

9. Termination

YOU may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

YOU is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, YOU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes.
